Two years ago we made the gingbread train from Aldi - it looked awful, cost a fortune on royal icing too. We are not an artistic family! (Bought my friend the gingerbread house and it looked fantastic when she finished it.)

One of these days I'm going to work out what your specialist subject was when you were teaching, Sherrardk. I can take it then, can I, that it wasn't Art or Domestic Science?

I have a BEd in Business Studies but did Travel and Tourism too. Was (amongst other things), head of careers (hated that), head of vocational education, and the worst of the lot, responsible for cover. I got to the point where I was responsible for loads of stupid stuff that they had to make me a Senior Teacher (but I wasn't any good at the keeping my gob shut bit).
