i don;t know i'm very suspicious of it :-)
would imagin it would go black and greasy.... could be wrong...
my guess is the Avo would turn Black too
I've had avocado baked with a creamy crab filling. You are warming them rather than cooking them, if that makes sense???
Large avocados are perfect for stuffing. Halve and pit the avocado, leaving the skin on, and scoop out 1cm of flesh, reserving it for another use. Mix some cooked prawns with a little chopped apple and celery, to taste, and add 2 tablespoons of low fat mayonnaise. Pile the mixture into the avocado halves and sprinkle with paprika.

The avocado's richness makes it a great "smoothie" candidate. Blend the flesh of one avocado with 1 cup low fat milk, 1/2 cup ice cubes and 1 cup fresh berries. Sweeten to taste.

Add 1/2 an avocado, mashed, per 500g of ground meat to your favourite burger recipe; they'll be indescribably moist. Add it to your favourite sweet bread recipe, and you'll get the same effect.

No. Knowing that raw avocado doesn't taste very nice I'm not rushing to see if cooking improves them. You'll have to let us know how your experiment goes.
No, never had them cooked, only as a starter stuffed with prawns and
guacamole [not sure of spelling]
Question Author
i'm not sure if i'm brave enough OG
Avocados are far too expensive for use in experiments..What is wrong with serving them just as they become ripe..with prawns in sauce and a good sprinkling of Paprika..yummy
Question Author
£1 for 4

i can risk one, maybe.
what i'm worried about is if i try it amd don't like it, it will put me off avocados and they are up the top of my fave things to put in my mouth list
