I had this liqour the other night in my local restaurant. It was a clear liqour and according to the waitress it had flakes of goldleaf in it. The liqour tasted of cinnamon. The waitress said it was called Goldslager (i am not sure of the spelling but it sounded like that).
There were some gold flakes at the bottom of the glass. I was wondering if anyone out there has drank any and if it is really goldleaf in the drink.

Have just googled it and apparantly it's real gold?!? The barman in my local said that they scratch your insides on the way down so the alcohol gets absorbed quicker. Lovely. It's my favourite drink, but very strong!
Goldschlager. The gold bits are real gold leaf, which according to this site are 24 carrot (sic).
