I've got half a roast chicken from yesterday and some roast sliced taties, onions, peppers and tomatoes. I'm going to fry it all up in chilli and whatever spices i fancy and serve it with some sawat. Might make some spring onion bread to go with it .....
Sounds nice NoM. Just a quiet sunday lunch today. I am doing chicken fillets wrapped in parma ham with herb cheese stuffing.garlic roast potatoes and a veg selection. Follow by a small apple crumble with cream.

We also have half a roast chicken to use up! I'm going for enchilladas, maybe some mexican rice and definitely a tomato salsa.
Beef olives, charlotte potatoes and veggies. Daughter is cooking so I don't know which veggies and suspect a pudding of some sort.

Then crash out for the rest of the day ;-)

Hi guys. Please remind me never to go supermarket.shopping on a Sunday with 3 kids ever again...

All your menus sound fabulous.
We're having leg of lamb, with the roasties done in rosemary, mash with cheese, and glazed root veg followed by cherry crumble and either custard or cream- not decided yet.
chicken and leek pie with carrot and swede mash, peas and runner beans.
We ate out because I was feeling lazy! It'll be scones and cake for tea, because I can't be bothered with anything else. Although I will prepare the monkfish in parma ham for tomorrow's tea so it can be firming up.
I can't be arsed so will be having something delivered tonight............

I was given a 4 kilo lump of pork shoulder last night, so took off some pieces for jerk pork and kept most of the rest for making sausages, but made an excellent curry with all the offcuts. There's only me to eat it, though - nobody else fancies it.
toad in the hole and roast spuds...yummy x
