Does eating trousers = elasticated waist ?
It's belting tiggs - my only criticism was the time I had a half a dozen oysters ... and only five worked ;)
Ask for a refund Dave.
Lol Dave!

Actually, come to think of it I may have been to the Covent Garden one a few years ago. I'm sure that was the same restaurant I went to after seeing Les Mis.
I would have the Loch Fyne® Oysters followed by Farmed Gilt-Head Bream, pan-fried with Salsa Verde and Buttered New or Sautéed Potatoes, Pan-fried Samphire in Garlic Butter. And if I've got room, Crème Brulee with Home-made shortbread.
I'm going for my birthday next week. I love it. I think I will have Mussels to start, pan-fried hake, salsa verde, twice cooked chips and samphire.
when's your birthday, vodka?
How is Fishers of Leith now?
Next Monday DT, the big old 35! lol
A nice age though and they say the peak of your sexuality, where the lines of libido and experience cross over on a graph.....
Lol, that makes me sound old!

Fishers is doing good. It's lovely.
I can't actually open the menu to get a peek.... I'll have a bit of everything and then have to guess what's on the menu, that sounds like an alright deal to me.
It's been a while since I have been there but their Lobster was really good - and they have an excellent white wine list. Gather they have one in the City now.
You smooth talking bastard DT... you'll be inviting V&C to come up and see your pen and ink sketches next ;-p
They do, it's on Thistle Street. It's lovely too but i prefer the one at Leith for some reason lol
Lol, you know me Snaggy, I fall for it every time! ;)
Shame I am not nearer Edinburgh as I would invite Vodka to Leiths! Its the history of the old watch tower that appeals, I guess.

I have an "etching" over on Arts, Vodka.

Lol, Snaggs.
my fish allergy starts up at the mere sniff of fish so I would probably give the place a miss, shame :S

I still can't decide though, I want a bit of everything. Definitely going to have the samphire, that's something I've always wanted to try.
