Peas.
Works for me! Sounds lovely.
I'd have some buttered bread with that to mop up the sauce from the beans.
Definitely peas. And served in a basket for added authenticity.
Agree with snags.
Question Author
peas and a squidge of lemon makes much more sense but in my head i just see beans

but its wrong
Have beans then... then wish you'd had peas.
Beans = farts.
Nooooo peas
Tartar sauce too
Unless you are 8 .... Then go for beans.
Fluffy, that's just weird. Save the baked beans for supper later on.
Scampi, chips, baked beans and tartare sauce oh noooooooooooo please
Tartare sauce in a little sachet that ages to open and then squirts everywhere. All part of the genuine 70s experience. And preferably on a table with beer glass rings.
^^ with snags and tony.

(Minus the f word, natch).
Bloody hell kiki, that takes me back.
Scampi, chips, baked beans and tartare sauce oh noooooooooooo please
