what goes with Courgettes?

I've got some nice Courgettes and fancy making soup.I do make soup often but have never done Courgette. Would tomato go nice with it? Or roasted peppers?

I also put courgette an pepper chunks in italian tomato soup they stand up alright if you get a nice biteful..

Courgette, ginger and lemongrass works well its a nice bland base to support the exotic flavours
