Hiya Abers.

I'm about to cook some chicken breast fillets in the oven. I fancy a few different ideas on how to cook, as I am fed up cooking the same old thing every time.
How do you cook yours and what do you add to the dish, ta muchly x

With cider and apple lovely!
Stuff them with black pudding, haggis, ham or cheese. Wrap them in bacon and wrap the parcel in cling film (no, it doesn't melt).

Bung it in the oven at 190oc for about 25mins. Give or take.
One of my favourite is chicken breast with homepride coat and cook, bake in the oven and serve with melon and mango salsa and jacket spuds.
i put a big dollop of garlic and herb philadelphia on it then wrap in two slices of back bacon cook for 25mins
If they have the skin on, I roast them with salt, pepper, garlic, chilli, lemon and rosemary. I chuck in a few baby toms and some white wine and cook it for about 20 mins.
For 4 fillets. Slice the chicken into goujons, and lay them in a casserole dish. Chop up around 4 rashers of bacon into 1cm pieces. Thinly slice 4 small or two large shallots. Slice half a dozen mediumish mushrooms. Fry the bacon in a pan, add the shallots, add the mushrooms. When done, add almost 3/4 pint of Bisto gravy. Top up to 3/4 pint with red wine. pour it all over the chicken. Pop it in the oven at 190°C for 30 minutes.

Many many thanks Abers, you have all come up with some brilliant ideas! Will pick one out of the bunch in 10 mins and start cooking. Cheers all x
I open them out a bit, flatten them-then lightly pan fry in garlicky butter. When almost done,I lay thinly sliced mozzarella cheese on them, pour in a bit of chicken stock and cover quickly-letting the steam melt the cheese. Serve on a bed of creamed spinach with some grilled tomatoes.
Wrapped in bacon or parma ham, with grated parmesan on top
I wouldn't try the cling film in the oven recipe.
It's lovely, glasman.
You have to use the correct clingfilm.
Not a hint of plastic in the taste, then?
Slice to make butterfly wings , bit of soft cheese in the middle fold back together, wrap a couple of slices of bacon round them ......bang em in the oven.

When I was given the recipe I thought that the cling film wouldn't work.

I was wrong! And I just use the normal stuff. No one has died yet!
No plastic taste, glasman. Keeps the chicken nice and moist.
Ok, I'll take your word on it and give it a try,
Wrapped in bacon, bbq sauce and cheese on top, hunters Chicken, delish.
Mix some honey with mustard powder and brush some over the chicken breasts. Cover with foil for first half hour of cooking then remove foil and and pour over the remaining (however much you want) and finish cooking. You can even add a little ground ginger if you want. Its lovely
