You can get beef, chicken, lamb, vegetable and fish stock cubes but I've never seen any pork ones. Have you?

Question Author
Do they? Thank you both . I don't think they have them in my local Sainsbury's branch. I'd better have a proper look.
Not questioning your answer humbersloop, suggesting that ham would do the job. :)
no, didn't think you were douglas :) I was surprised when I saw them. They're allright actually.
Question Author
Did you use them to make gravy, sloopy, or did you use them to boil the ham?
I use the ham cubes to add an extra bit of ham flavour in making ham & pea soup.
I put them in butter bean and chorizo stew tilly with tinned toms. I think I did get them in sainsburys.

I boil ham with a carrot, an onion an a couple of sticks of celery

I do apologise.

Shall I tell you what my problem is? I am sitting in the dark and working by the light of the laptop screen.
Too mean to put the light on.
oh right Tilly, we make big pot veg soup, add kale too, transfer into tubs, freeze them, 14 day supply, we have our soup every day. (just the two of us) is that a song:))
Question Author
Sounds good katburd. Do you whiz it up and make it thick, or just have big chunks of vegetables?
blend down veg first, not too thick, not too thin.
Question Author
The problem is, I don't have a blender. The last one I had resulted in watercress particles flying around my kitchen, Most of them stuck to the tiles.
