Homemade Scotch eggs are quite nice. Shop bought ones are like rubber.

Sadly nearly all the good pork pie Companies like Saxby have been forced out of business by the Supermarkets. So you can only buy Supermarket pork pies which are completley tastless. Once again the supermarkets are offering us less choice rather than more.

the supermarkets by me are all offering a range of locally made pig products, like pork pies, black pudding, sausages, bacon. the pork pies look very nice but have a proper jelly bit in them so i can;t go near them. they look very nice, i bought fatty one a few weeks back
