I love Sushi, and their's is freshly prepared. I like their conveyor belt system as you can see exactly what's on offer rather than having to rely on a description on a menu.

I don't really. Just seemed like an awful lot of show for mediocre food, OH was not impressed either. I don't think I like the idea of companies exploiting peoples' lack of knowledge about other cultures. I know "if you don't like it don't go there", well we certainly won't be.
With the conveyor, you are stuck with whatever the chefs decide to put out, and you have seconds to decide whether you want it or not. That's not how I want to buy food.
With a fixed menu you know everything that is available.
I'm probably being a bit harsh. I think we just had a bad experience at our local one as the staff were not particularly helpful. In the end we just ordered two coffees and some noodles. Apologies for the comments above.
