I always do a ton of roasties Ummmm, my lot fill the plate and build a dinner around them. Any more crackling, anyone?
We've just ate our crackling. I have hassleback potatoes in the oven, pork is resting, veg waiting to be steamed and I'm making a mushroom sauce :-)

Another tip for your crackling, if it won't crisp up, deep fry it! then you get that really puffed up stuff you can buy in packs called pork crunch
Great I love those bags of pork crunch.
I'd hacve the lemon cheesecake personally.... but I'd like to tray a brandy snap as I don't think I ever have.
Brandy snaps are nice.
They don't actually taste of brandy China, very nice though.

china, they're more like a gingery bit of stiff toffee :-)
if you get the ones that are like tubes then pipe them with brandy cream, not that's lush

hiya spikey - did you used to post under the username merciasounds? Your posts sound just like her scrummy posts (and your freezer/fridge sounds just about as large :)
I'm just cooking roast chicken, pigs in blankets, homemade stuffing, roasties, parsnips, peas, carrots,'sweetheart cabbage, broccoli, purple kale, sprouts and green beans. No starter and no pud. There's plenty to spare if anyone wants.

I also have some Lindeman's Bin 65 Chardonnay and Nobilo Sauv B in the fridge.
How many are coming NoM?
I am having pork fillet, cous cous and roasted veg, jim is having steak suet pudding pots and gravy.
