instead of wine...?

I'm about to make a big batch of spaghetti bolagnase sauce and I have everything except red wine.  I usually put a big glug in to give it some extra flavour.  Any ideas what I could use instead?  Not alcoholic (unless gin or cider will do the trick which I doubt) but maybe some extra seasoning or something, any ideas welcomed!

Throw in a glug of Worcestershire Sauce. Gives it a nice kick
I was going to say that. Worchestershire Sauce is the buisness in Spag Bol.
Yep,I have to agree with Worcester Sauce,it's everybodys "secret" ingredient,that is until you find out everyone else uses it too! LOL
Dry cider will do the trick.
Balsamico vinegar and sugar.
not worc sauce, balsamic vinegar and a quality extra virgin olive oil.No sugar ,the toms taste sweet enough.
