Those gorgeous ribs don't use much fat as they are roasted with the hoisin sauce. The chow mein range doesn't use too much oil either.
One night off the diet shouldn't hurt too much, just see it as a treat and go for what you fancy. It will probably do you more good than fretting over how much fat you're eating and ruin your night out.

thanks Sir Alec
Avoid anything deep fried like prawn toast/prawn crackers. Avoid anything battered like sweet and sour pork/chicken.

The healthiest starter would be a soup.

For main I would go for chow mein or chicken in black bean sauce with plain rice.
Sorry, I would avoid the ribs. They can be very fatty.

Avoid anything fried!! Gosh...
I was going to say dont have fried rice, have boiled rice or noodles
Go for soups, veggies or something steamed.
According to my Slimming World book, Hot & Sour Soup, Beef or Chicken in Black Bean Sauce, Beef with Mushrooms, Chicken in Oyster Sauce, and plain boiled rice.
A simply steamed Grass Carp would be ok...
Order the dry ribs, not the ones in the sauce.
Thanks snags. I am nicely browned having spent the last two weeks in Cyprus (working, but they seem to finish their day around lunchtime)
Anything steamed rather than fried. Avoid fat where possible. Or not worry, eat enough rather than whatever you see, and then pick up the diet again tomorrow. It is a rare event after all, isn't it ?
Fried rice is not usually done in a lot of oil...the wok is kept on the dry side.
Honestly, I wouldn't even bother. If you're on a diet, then just give yourself a night off and be good for the rest of the week/two weeks :-)
