More Help Needed

As I don't eat fish I need help finding an alternative to Turbot.

I would normally ask my fishmonger but he appears to be missing in action!

It needs to be easy to find ie Tesco!

Monkfish - very similar and meaty - roasts well.

It part of the titanic menu and is served on a potato cake and has a crayfish cream sauce with it.

Well if you don't eat fish then a nice pork chop is an alternative.

Yes it is.....Dover Sole as well but a little more care with fine bones is needed. I keep a dedicated pair of needle pliers in my kitchen drawer....you can buy chrome ones that look like a bulldog clip without the handle bit.

Monkfish is robust and quite similar in flavour - pricey though but a little goes quite a long way.
