Well for those interested, my Titanic night was a hit, I was shattered after it, but the food went down well.

The only disaster was I forgot to cook all the veg!!

Can I just say, you were right Ummmm, you weren't the only one to comment on my mixed grill, FGT said, //I simply don't believe anyone can eat that muh food//

I did Dave, I keep saying this year will be the last - then I find another menu research it and think it sounds like fun so give it a try.

This year was by far the biggest
Am trying to sample it and some dishes Ive never tasted. What a marathon feed, clever girl ;)
Spikey - if you read page 1 again I asked about portion sizes and whether this was a taster menu. Completely different to sitting down and eating the lot from one plate, don't you think?

Why are you getting mardy?
perhaps you could ask for some ideas on here, ill have a think and see if i can come up with some.

sounds lush, well the bits i like.... :-)

Lol Ummmm :)

Tambo, I don't think the mutton is pureed? :-/

Oh for goodness sake, ILuvSpikey, just let it go.

Actually madmen the mutton was horrible!! far to fatty, I had mutton fillet last year and that was lush but the cut this year was yuck!

It is a taster menu Spikey therefore whilst there is a lot of food it is all small portions, so 2 slices of chicken breast, 3 of duck etc etc
sounds fabulous Helen, clever girlie! the most I've cooked for was 11 (including 3 aged under 5), Christmas day.. it nearly killed me!
Question Author
Its OK madmen Spikey is entitled to comment, I am happy to answer any questions on it.
When are you having a feast for us A-bankers? :)
And what would you cook? Remember that I am vegetarian, and don't use eggs.
Ah well, you now know for next time... as I'm sure there'll be another! :-)
A taster menu, a bit like a Meze then ?

Son works in corporate entertaining & says the same food comes in/out of fridges for different functions - he would NOT eat it nor bring me any for fear of ppisoning,
