My boyfriend is currently being very grumpy because all of the shops where we live (the north east) have stopped stocking Heinz pea and ham soup. Despite scouring the county's differing shops i cannot find even one can - does anybody know if they have stopped making it. And if they have could anybody suggest an alternative brand

Tescos do a good version in an orange tin for about 30p
I can still buy Heinz Pea and Ham in my local Co Op.  Failing that, the Baxters one is very similar in taste and texture.
My Sister has the same problem with Heinz French Onion soup.

Don't know about the Heinz one, but Covent Garden who make a range of fresh soups do a Pea and Ham one:

Don't tend to buy soups in this hot weather, so don't know if there's Heinz pea & ham in my local shops, as TraceyLucy says though, the Baxters one is very nice aswell.
Baxters is the only Pea and ham soup in town, forget the rest, get the best.

Whilst living in Canada I came across a great French pea with ham soup made by Habitant. It was really thick, plenty of ham and tasted wonderful!

Dont know if its available in the UK tho...
