I was watching man vs food earlier and adam was eating a corn dog which is a deep fried sausage in batter on a stick which sounded and looked absolutely delish! I mean what's not to love, meat on a stick so your hands stay clean.
I wondered have any of you tasted them? What are they like? More to the point can we get them here or have you made them before and can they be made without a deep fryer?
I ate them in New Orleans from street vendors more than 40 years ago. We were out celebrating on a beautiful night....they make a good supper but a TERRIBLE breakfast lol.
If i make one i think i'd add chopped onions, chopped jalepenos and cheese in the batter mix. Now i'm hungry and the more i hear about it the more i dream of it's hot, tasty meaty goodness in my mouth dripping in mustard and ketchup, mmm.
