If you drank 1 glass of wine in 10 secs and another person drank the same in an hour, would you feel the same at the end of the hour? both people drinking at the same time of course.

Well you both would have had the same amount to drink but they wouldn't feel the same, I mean the first guy would be wondering when the second guy was going to get a round in!
...or whether they should have gone for the "buy three glasses, get the rest of the bottle free" offer.
I did a Forensic Science degree and had to work out blood/alcohol levels for drunk drivers etc. So that means I should know this, but I'm not sure. The "10 second man" would begin absorbing the alcohol sooner than the "1 hour man" so I suppose the first man would feel more effect after 1 hour. However after 2 or 3 hours the two men should be the same I think. That might not be right but it sounds plausible!
It's not all about alcohol consumption, 'drunkness' is mediated by how drunk you feel you should get.
