Morning!

I wondered if anyone had ever found a really deep lasagne dish? Anything up to a foot deep would not be considered excessive.

I'd just like to make a really deep lasagne with different clever layers.

Clever layering ideas welcome.

I'd be serving it with a fire hose
A foot deep and you'd need a shovel.
like this, Mamya

No translation but you get the idea
Ed, I've got an old tin bath at the back of the shed that you could borrow.
that looks like it, fluff. Some of those layers at the near end don't look fully integrated yet, but I suppose they just set fire to the room to cook it.
Tin bath, perfect!!

No need to dish it up - just get in.
Nice find Snags, looks the job.
Right then, Mamya, I''ll start chipping the old plaster out of it then ;-)

"Make one with a topping and one without then place the one with topping on top of the other."

That's cheating!

"You could use a loaf tin, they're deep sided, it would be narrow but deep..."

True, but it's still not quite what I'm after. I suppose I could do several....

"My lasagnes are always delicious but very sloppy. If I made one that deep I'd be serving it with a ladle."

Can't be having that! I want a tower of lasagne standing proud.

Thanks for your contributions so far!

That might be the one Snags!
Oh I say!!
I can't even get into (so to speak) snags' link. Is it a disused coal mine?

Something like that!
If you're not stuck on a rectangle shape get one of these... the mother of all cook pans... 'leaning tower of lasagna':

excellent, and with wheels on you could take the rubbish out in it.
Have you considered making 4 or five normal lasagnes and just piling them on top of each other after cooking? That's probably the route I'd go down. Less chance of food poisoning as well.
