How do you know if someone fancies you?
When I joined my current workplace, I used to work with the public and used to serve this reader, X. He's quite sweet looking, a funny bloke, prob about early 40s, not the type I usually go for but was attracted to him. X lives locally to me, so whenever I was up in town, I'd quite often bump into him. Once I went to the local art shop and he sprang out of nowhere and was giving me the eye a bit, hovering and then started chatting to me. I was a bit taken aback as didn't expect that from him. I always used to bump into him outside having a fag at work too and we'd chat but I never thought anymore of it until the art shop incident. Anyway, whenever I goto the local pub, he's always in there and waves at me. Sometimes he chats to me, sometimes not (esp if i'm deep in conversation with a friend). Anyway, recently I'd gone to the pub with a friend and went to the bar. I was sure i saw X out of the corner of my eye sitting over the other side of the pub but couldn't tell at that point. Anyway, we were outside having a fag at work recently and he said "I saw you in the pub the other week, and I waved but I don't think you saw me" and I was like "Oh I thought it was you!" and then the conversation changed to opening times at work at Xmas. I was joking that all the readers complain when work is not open Xmas day, and X said they've obviously got nothing better to do. Then he said he gets quite lonely at Xmas as well. It was completely out of the blue and he just stared at me a bit and went quiet. But I just said something like that after Xmas it could get a bit boring with eating too much turkey etc, and he laughed. I do quite fancy him in a way and He always makes an effort to talk to me when he sees me, and I have caught him staring a bit, but don't know how he feels about me. Do you think he's keen on me or do you think i'm barking up the wrong tree?
