No Ham Or Wine From Tescos During Ramadan - a worker refuses to serve a customer.

Tesco if respectful of their employees religious status during this time, should make sure they have enough staff to serve all products to all customers at all times.
(i) So what - probably 99% of the population to that store are Muslims, it's known as the land of '-ogs, trogs and copulating dogs.'

(ii) Has anybody pointed out to the worker that she is working for a Jewish founded company, named after the founder's wife, Tessa Cohen?
Why don't Tesco(s) make muslim checkout staff take their holidays during ramadan, as they seen to be incapable of doing their jobs during this period.

Surely the customer wasn't trying to force feed him Ham and Wine, he's there to sell it, not conduct a taste test!
That's weird. Ham and alcohol are forbidden to Muslims all the time, not just during Ramadan.
I was in a cack handed way trying to point out the silly header here, what about this one?

MOUSE KILLS WOMAN.

Mary Rose after breakfast nipped to the bathroom before taking the dogs for a walk.
As she reached the first floor landing she caught sight of a mouse scurrying along the skirting board, in shock she stumbled back against the loose bannister he husband had been promising to repair.
This led her to fall down the flight of stairs breaking her neck, she was dead on arrival.

Mouse kills woman .

The End.
Well yes but Ramadan is not relevant in this case. If its because of Ramadan, he should be refusing to serve any food or drink during the hours between sunrise ands sunset, although there is no precedent in Islam for this.
If the refusal is because ham and alcohol are forbidden to Muslims then he should be refusing to serve them at any time.
\\\\\Ham and alcohol are forbidden to Muslims all the time, not just during Ramadan\\\woofy makes a good point.

Why is this person on the checkout AT ALL?

Over the years on AB i have been listening to the lefties who have convinced my that there is no threat of Islamisation of the west.

I am now having grave doubts.
"i have been listening to the lefties"

Go see your doctor Sqad.
The koran does not require that muslims shouldn't be near ham and wine. Anyway, most tesco products are packaged surely? even wine.
Not to all Muslims, sqad - it depends on the sect's interpretation of the Koran and the Haddiths.
this just proves that some people are ***, no one religion has a monopoly on them.
DT...true.

But in Saudi Arabia alcohol is forbidden, whichever sect.
Saudi Arabia is not the only country in the Muslim world, only 9 mln or so.....go across to Bahrain or Dubai and things relax a bit, or Jordan to the north. Look at the wine growing in the Muslim world....
DT.....that is my point....Saudia Arabia is the ONLY Muslim country where alcohol is totally forbidden.
This really gets my back up. A few months ago there was a bit of a furore about a muslim in my local poundland refusing to serve a customer with a pack of bacon. Some time later I went in Poundland with my son who was asked to remove his 'hoodie' on his sweatshirt whilst in the shop. We were then served by a young muslim girl with HER head covered. One law for one...
DTC, may I correct a widely-held misconception?

Tesco is not named after somebody called Tessa Cohen. The CO bit does indeed come from the founder, Jack COhen, but the TES bit comes from a tea importer in Sarf London called T. E. Stockwell who was Cohen's original business partner.
it must be a moral dilemma for catholic checkout staff in chemists when someone wants to buy some condoms
so go and work for a muslim owned company and there would be no problem.
It's still bloody Jewish though....ok for the correction.....
