Boursin With Black Pepper

Anyone else tried this ... great on its own , wonderful melted into pasta with fresh basil, to die for with steak. Coop do it in-store ...... course you have to like black pepper

Apparently you can get it online at ACADO .... bit expensive (delivery charge) for a bit of cheese unless you buy in bulk. Bit of a following in our family visitors arrive with no flowers just a couple of packs of cheese lol

Good on them, kuul.....trouble is that I get migraines these days from mature cheddars and the like....

Loved it for years, I put it in a sandwich with strawberries and extra cracked pepper, I like crunchy bits. Has to be a good granary bread and unsalted butter too.

Is it sold loose on the deli counter at the Co-op or pre-wrapped?

Must try it sounds delicious. Philadelphia cracked black pepper and spring onion new flavour is nice too.

Make an ARRIBATA sauce ..then drop a motzarella ball in sauce ....divine... I live in place called BUntingford .... smallest town in herts ..pop 60000...yet we have a specialist cheese shop, bespoke butchers and fantastic farm shop (2 miles away)

Pre wrapped ... never seen the one with spring onion added......there should be a boursin shop in every town..... although saying that when I asked my cheese man why he didn't stock boursin he said it was too heavily processed... think we need to but good cream cheese and copy boursin recipe...... my first will be cream cheese with strawberry and black pepper..... also boursin black pepper and spring onion....... don't worry I'm not a foodie ..just a self indulgent big fat pig !!!!

Love Boursin! Tesco sell the garlic & herb, not sure about the black pepper one, love black pepper!
