Freezing Yoghurt?
7 Answers
Can you freeze a small tub of 0% fat natural yoghurt?
I give my dogs a desert spoonful every other day. If I buy a large pot, or several small pots, they go out of date before they are used up.
I'm wondering if it separates and/or loses the good bacteria during freezing.
It would save me having to go shopping every week, and then being tempted by "special offers"!

Apparently, freezing does not affect the good bacteria. As for making your own,500ml is probably the smallest amount you would want to make. Can you finish that in about a week?

Wolfgang. One of the dogs is a Westie, and they are prone to dickie tummies occasionally. Several people recommended giving him a spoonful now and again and I must admit it appears to have done the trick. While I'm giving him some, I might as well give it to my staffy x.
I wouldn't want to give him much more in case it caused him to be sick. It seems that he is "getting the right dose" so to speak.

Have you thought about making your yoghurt Peachy? You could make as much or as little as you need that way.
