What is your favourite cake? I dont think you can beat a nice moist piece of madeira cake myself.

I have a few but my favourite hasto be a good Victoria Spnge
I don't really eat cake but I do quite like a chocolate eclair.
Lemon drizzle.
It varies for me, I am currently a huge fan of M and S banana loaf.
a well made carrot cake with lashings of mascarpone based icing

I think Genoa or any really good MOIST fruit cake! I like moist!!
B00, I went to a hypnotherapist a few months back. He mentioned the word "moist" and I ended up in fits of hysterics. The "calm relaxation" was kind a mucked up for that day.

Sorry Georgiesmum my last answer was off topic.

I am not a great cake fan - although I did make a vanilla sponge for my grandad's 90th a couple of months back and that was delicious. I think it helped that it was soaked in syrup.
Don't often make/buy cake but I love my daughter's banana loaf and lemon drizzle cake.
Jackthehats wedding cake was lush :-)
Lashings of cream on a fruit topped pavlova. (if it's classed as cake )
