Clever Crow

I have seen crows put stale bread in the bird bath to soften it but now they are putting the skin from my smoked haddock in, presumably to get rid of the salty favour !

Crow list high among the 'cleverest' birds known. Many birds can be taught amazing tricks but but crows will invent various behaviour to make life easier all by themselves.
