im on a diet now, hi protein low carbs ( ok i have beer but its coors lite... LOL )
so i had a chicken and bacon salad today , not nice as i put honey and mustard dressing over it from one of them tesco squeezy bottles.
give me a few pointers here, what sauces go with what , i was going to buy basmalti vinegar yesterday i seen it and it said it was good for salad dressing , i mean how do these resturants make me a lovely salad, even an airplane meal has nice salad served but i can never get my own to taste the same.
no way, my cooking could not be that bad , i take my time and prepare everything right .

My best advice is to prepare different salad recipes, such as Greek or Thai noodle, rather than the old fashioned British tradition of lettuce, tomato, cucumber with a slice of ham on the side. By really varying the nature of the salads it takes much longer for the boredom to set in.

Hellmans do a fat free vinegarette in my Tesco which is nice on salad. Tesco also do a range of "healthy living" stuff.....moroccan sauce, cesaer sauce, balsamic, honey and mustard, all very low fat.
Had a big salad the other day and tipped a small tin of mackerel into it. You could also use prawns or hard boiled eggs. A few halved grapes are nice in a salad too.
