Hi! Anyone made sushi? I made some the other month but just used duck and chicken as I wasn't sure what kind of fish to use... If I wanted to make tuna or salmon sushi, is it a special kind that I need to buy? Or can I just buy fresh salmon and tuna?
Thanks :)

Doesn't have to be fish. Vinegared rice plus 'other' counts.

Apart from that use what pleases you.
Sushi is the rice. It's sushi rice. You can do anything you want with it
if you are going to use raw fish then it has to be very fresh indeed. You can use smoked fish or cooked prawns.

crab sticks are great for making sushi rolls, also smoked salmon or gravlax salmon. Veggie ones can be made with Avocado slices of red pepper and cucumber. I've also made Sushi rolls with canned salmon.
