Hi gness mustn't complain(although that doesn't usually stop me having the odd moan)still waiting for sun and heat in this neck of the woods, have not seen much of it this year yet,but still hoping, how are you, done any more garden wonders lately?
Like you, Vak....waiting for summer.....the garden's very acceptable now...all dug and mostly planted up.
Still adding the quirky bits and painting things shocking pink and black....
Painting the decking in the arbour black was a disaster.....despite following the instructions to the letter...so I'm carpeting it.....black of course....☺
Good morning Vakayu. I am afraid to say that I am in continual pain at the moment. X ray results say that' there is complete loss of joint space superiority and partial collapse of femoral capital epiphysis indicating avascular necrosis ' which basically means the hip is knackered! Have to see a consultant on Wednesday but it looks like a hip replacement. Frightens me to death but I'm a bit of a wimp especially about anaesthetic. Thanks for asking and will let you know how I get on x
Why pink and black Margo is that just your thing?Have you added anything "quirky" to alarm anyone in your pond lately?Perhaps when it is all finished you should open it to the public with a suitable warning of course Ha.
Hi Marear about the pain it certainly sounds like you have no option. My auntie was in terrible pain like yourself for a long time she had her hip replaced about six months ago and never looked back, she is like a new woman. As regards the anaesthetic I can understand your apprehension but I think a wimp is having anything done without me(namely me)they are suspecting an epigastric hernia with me(waiting for a scan)and with my emphysema and other things going on with meould be very wary, which does not fill me with delight in the slightest.Good luck on Wednesday please keep in touch. x
Sorry to hear that, Margo...and I understand your fears.....but once it's done you'll be happy I'm sure.....
My friend L put it off for as long as he could bear it....now he's back to playing football......☺...best wishes...x
I can vacuum the carpet, Ael....easier than repainting.....
I love black and shocking pink together......the pond has grown over the scary hands so I may plant them behind a shrub in the border....x
Sorry Vak, crossed posts! Sorry to hear about your problems, my OH is waiting for an op for that at the moment. What a lot of old crocs we are. Keep in touch, will let you know how it goes x
Thanks Margo at least we can vent some moans on here now and again hope all goes well on Wednesday for you and that your OH hears something soon,as Cilla reportedly said falling to bits piece by piece!
