I'm sure I have....but I guess it depends on how long they've been hanging about and what state they are in.
If they've not been defrosted for more than a day and look OK I think I'd chance it....after all, you'll be cooking them when you get them out again, so any bugs should be annihilated then.
But I'm notoriously un-picky about food sell by dates, best before dates etc
Don't think you are supposed to re-freeze anything Mally unless it has been cooked, ie frozen peas incorporated into a cottage pie etc. have you had a problem with you freezer?
thanks for answers ,yes Margo had to try and cram everything into one freezer(chest one ok ,upright needed repair ) but didn't have room for the packets of veg .
If you google it Mally there seems to be divided opinions especially about the texture etc. suppose you could give it a try, or possibly make a big vat of veggie soup x
The link seems to say don't refreeze them as you might lose some nutrients and they might go a bit tough.
I'd do it....especially if I had a lot of them.
But, as I said I'm a bit cavalier about sell by dates etc............if it doesn't look or smell bad, I'll use it.
