My son keeps bringing me fallen apples from his garden. I desperately need ideas for something different do with them, rather than apple sauce and apple jelly.

Crumble!!!
Cider.
Wash, slice and freeze the good bits. Great for apple pies, crumbles in the Winter.
chutney...
Couldn't tell you the last time i had a Toffee Apple...
I've got a tree on my allotment that is bursting with bramley's.
Last week I made a few jars of blackberry, rasberry and apple jam.
Onion and apple chutney .. and beetroot chutney.. all needed apples.

We had visitors at the weekend who admired my efforts so much, that my wife offered everone a couple of jars each... dont worry he'll make some more she said ?

Thanks for the suggestions. However I've made crumble until I look like one, made apple sauce and apple jelly, and I can't bear apple drinks, so cider is out. I'd really like some new ideas, perhaps a new chutney recipe, or a jammy kind of thing.
More help will be gratefully received.

I've just read the answer about mixing apples with fruit from the allotment.
We gave ours up, as at 84 and 87, we couldn't dig, or look after it as it should be. I was particularly devastated, as we had pear, damson, apple, pear, cherry, plum and crab apple trees, black and red currants, strawberries, raspberries and champagne rhubarb.
Now anything I add to the fallers has to be bought, so it becomes more expensive. Please help with interesting recipes for apples and store cupboard ingredients.
Baked apples.
First thing ever cooked in school cookery lessons.
I just use the most basic recipes and jazz them up a bit with a pinch of chilli, mustard seed or all spice and various onions.
It does help that I have access to a vast glut of veg.
Jamie Oliver's are the ones I tend to go with as they are fairly basic .... or just click here for more ideas ..

Reform?
Simply wash and core them and place in a good size kettle adding enough water to come up about half way on the side of the kettle. Cook until entirely mushy and juicy. Pour the mash through a cheesecloth strainer, cool and then freeze. It'll keep almost forever, or at least until you have ideas as to what to do with it...
I peel, core and chunk them, place in a plastic bowl and microwave for 5 minutes. Then freeze and you have free apple pie filling. Or chutney when the plums are ready.
Make your own moisturiser

You could make apple butter, oven-dried apple chips or even apple and muesli/granola bars. You could dry them and and make apple and cinnamon popcorn
I used to take apples to my Mother and she turned them into scrumptious pies!
I don't know much about making them but I did enjoy eating them, with ice cream usually.
One tip I do remember though, is that she added a little lemon juice/citric acid, to prevent the apples turning brown.
Pies, crumbles, sponge? Juice them?
