I had to google this as I have never heard of Sassafras Leaf. It is used in creole cooking, like gumbos!! Very unusual cooking ingredient.

Hmm closer examination of the Amazon link shows that the seller, Raven Moon Emporium, is based in South Carolina (the "SC" in their postal address). This may well account for the £8.25 postage they need. As a result, I really don't think they meet the OP's needs of being available in the UK.

Amazon isn't always your friend especially when the small print is not read.

I think, what I shall do now is grow the trees myself, so I can harvest the leaves and roots at my leisure, I've wanted one of these trees for sometime anyway.
