Hamper

I know it is early days for Xmas but I will be making hamper up for two people - they can't really cook. Anybody recommend nice ready made dinners for them (ie supermarket ones) thanks.

The problem is, most (if not all??) ready meals are either frozen or chilled- how you going to manage that in a room temperature (I assume) hamper?

good point boo, why not a hamper of their favourite treats instead of meals?

i will be doing the lot (treats) etc - frozen meals will remain frozen in my own freezer until last minutes when I will drive the lot down to their freezer so that won't be problem. Will give M&S a go - not that I'll be tasting it.

jenny M&S do more chilled meals than frozen ones. Try Saiinsbury's or Waitrose if you have one.

Tins & bottles have lush food variety ie salmon tongue crab cavier (red is best) roll mops winkles welks jellied eels, ham corned beef, mayonaise, tartar sauce etc etc. Make one up for me jj as I'll be alone this xmas....sniff

I made up hampers for my two sisters a couple of years ago.one loved it and I found out the other gave most of it to her daughter
