We tend to use the words 'pancake' and 'crepe' interchangeably but they're actually very different. The main difference is that pancake batter has a raising agent in it such as baking powder or baking soda, whereas crepe batter does not. This means that pancakes are thicker and fluffy whilst crepes are thin and flat.
My lot will have sugar, lemon juice and golden syrup - I'm not having any, as much as I love them, beause I nearly lost the will to live after cooking their 18 pancakes (I'm not big on patience).
