Egg Shell Shaped Foam Mattress Topper

Can someone please tell me - when using the foam mattress topper with an egg shell profile, is it more comfortable to sleep directly on the shaped side or on the flat side ?
I would really appreciate any advice, it may save making up the bed an extra time.

The article that Mamyalynne mentions actually says "You can place it with the points facing up or the points facing down, depending on your preference. If you are unsure of which way is more comfortable for you, test it out both ways."
