Should meat sold in the UK be labelled if it is killed by the Halal method so that we can decide whether to buy it or not?

I for one would never buy it!!

It seems a reasonable piece of information for both those wanting to avoid it and those wanting it exclusively.
Yes it should. That is why we never buy New Zealand lamb. All the meat imported from there is killed using Halal methods to enable them to sell to Saudis etc.
Yes, I think that sort of information should be clearly marked, so that people are free to make the choice.
People should know that some meat from halal-slaughtered animals is not eaten by strict moslems, so the remainder has to go into the ordinary meat market. If halal meat is sold labelled, too many people might refuse to buy it, thus making it unmarketable and wasted. This would push up the price of halal meat, so people who don't know they are eating halal meat are actually subsidising those who do. Same goes for kosher.
Yes. It wouldn't stop me buying it though.
Yes it should. For example, all New Zealand lamb is Halal but is not labelled as such.
