I am noticing for quite some time and it is pretty off-putting that when I order Chicken Curry with rice etc.

The Chinese produce this massive clear bag of chicken which bears the shape of small erasers. They are then dumped into the curry.

I did only think it happened to one chinese lately but noticed a popular one of mine is doing the same. And also chicken doesn't taste authentic.

I know the Chinese are using these "bags" for quickness. No not for me again.

Pre-cut chicken ? I'm unsure why that would be an issue, necessarily. Just means it's processed in the factory and sold pre-cut. Depends on how it was stored etc.

also the taste OG - it certainly tastes different from my own cooked chicken.
Make your own Chinese curry. They only use a paste that is mixed with water.
When it comes to takeaways, you just don't know what you're eating. If you make it at home, at least you know that there aren't any 'funny' things going in it.
Chinese curry devils food
I'd make my own Chinese curry but unfortunately the local butcher never has any free range organic Chinese :-(
OG, my wife has the same complaint about Shepherd's pie.
I have never seen a curry on a plate in China.....this is an Anglicized creation.... bit like Chow Mein being an American equivalent.
Spotted Dick hasn't been the same since the advent of antibiotics.
My brother tells me that there are no Vegetarians in Vegetarian meals.

douglas, it's very rare that any post on here makes me laugh out loud, but your comment about - ahem - spotted Dick hit the spot! You can come to my next party
The Chinese near me does an amazing king prawn curry.
I look forward to that, bookbinder. :-)
Coq au vin is off the menu in my house ;-)

Stop having them, jj.
Be like me, I've never had a curry of any kind.
Why, Yont? Is it the smell that puts you off?
Get yourself a couple of chicken breasts JJ. Cut them into small pieces, then put them in a pyrex dish. Then get a good jar of curry sauce of your choice, pour over. You could add a few veggies or peppers. Cook on no: 5 or 180 for an hour. Lovely curry dish and you know what's gone in it!
Tilly2 Why, Yont? Is it the smell that puts you off?

Everything about them, Yilly.
That's 'cos you don't like gravy. Curry is gravy with lumps.
