I bought some Tesco crumpets the other day, had some for breakfast this morning and they were awful. Tasteless and stodgy. No amount of butter could redeemed them :(

Kings mill are nice
we love the kingsmill ones in this house
Home made are best
Another vote for Kingsmill, with butter and apricot jam.
Especially if you can get them on two for one in Tesco or somewhere!,
Warbies, well I would wouldn't I ?
Holly Willoughby.
You beat me to it, Warbies all the way, taste of home for me.
Strawberry jam and bits of Red Leicester on mine mmmmm.
Have never had a decent supermarket brand.

3rd vote for Warbies.

It used to be big blonde giggly ones.
Now.... considerate, thoughtful ones that are fond of toast instead of boast. :))
