I buy them ready-cooked and bung them in the microwave for 6 minutes.

Sorry never cooked one but if I did would probably put in casserole.

Slow cooker. In a cup of stock and two tablespoons of honey and a spring of rosemary. About 5 hours on medium

i do the same as jack, they come ready cooked in a pouch you can heat in water or nuke. very tasty and saves the faff - although the last time i had lamb shanks, that resulted in the epic gravy leg... :-D

I already have them so has to be cooked from raw.

In a dansak curry in the slow cooker and serve with peshwari rice and poppadoms.

Although I like the sound of it in curry I've never had lamb shank before so will be going down the mash and veg route. I might do that next time though.
