No idea about chicken ones but Sainsburys do a really blooming excellent turkey sausage. The texture is like a normal sausage and the taste is sublime. They are also healthier than standard sausages because the meat is less fatty
The ones I have are by Richmonds.
Never tried chicken sausages but as Woof says, turkey are nice.
Turkey sausages are delicious, never tried chicken but I assume it's similar.

richmonds pork sausages have a really funny taste to them, i can't eat them. I've seem the heck italian chicken sausages but i just can't bring myself to try them. Hadn't thought of the turkey ones either.. trying to image turkey as a sausage and its not working... my head will not accept it
I'm not a sausage fan so I tend to prefer the cheaper ones :-)
Turkey sausages are considerably more healthy than pork sausages. That also goes for chicken sausages.
Question Author
are they soft or firm.... i prefer a firm sausage

STOP IT - you know who you are....
They are similar in firmness. If anything, depending on the brand of sausage bought the turkey and chicken ones are ever so slightly softer, not in a bad way though.
sainsburys are exactly like a normal very good sausage except for the taste and the fact that they are healthier
Turkey sausages are excellent.
We managed to buy a packet of them at ALDI. But it appears our branch only sold the darned things for about 5 days.... :o(

They look/feel exactly the same as a pork sausage, but taste delicious.

hmmmmm i'm wavering - the healthy bit doesn't bother me, I'm not after changing my sausages for health reasons just curious as to what they taste like, i have an image of a white hot dog type thing which put me off. I shall have to give it a try.
I've tried the Heck chicken Italia. They are quite thin and the skin goes tough when they are grilled. Tried loads of turkey and chicken sausages over the years and have given up as I find they have no flavour. I've switched to Porky Lights and that's all I buy now.
Just try 'em fgs. Won't kill you. From your past food posts it is evident you're not too fussy what you shove in your cake hole.
Question Author
might kill me...
Interesting! Not tried them yet - but at least they are not being turned into veggie choice. Why do vegetarians have the need to change original fillings under the same name. They could call them rolls or cylinders.
Well if chicken is too radical, try a sausage not so far from your meaty norm: a tepid, lightly sweating, burst in your mouth Savaloy perhaps.
I got mine free from Tesco this morning, along with some melon finger and some scones :-)
Question Author
or they could just call them veggie sausages - i do like a glamorgan sausage, that's a treat

A slighty sweaty savaloy is reserved for special occasions only - like england winning the world cup....
Question Author
why did you get them free, i think i missed that bit?
