1. It's Fridaayyyyyyyyy

2. It's another scorcherooney! Useful really as the entire bed had to be stripped when a certain little one decided to part company with his first feed. Even the pillows needed washing.

3. We've decided to buy a top-notch BBQ. We've still not dipped into the money we were given for our wedding, so it's about time we bought a few nice things.

4. My IBS is in complete "remission" at last. My energy levels are now getting back to what they were pre-pregnancy.

5. The gobby one has been very generous with the compliments regarding dinner last night. It's just nice to receive a compliment.

"I have a date today with a bottle of gin."

Do you need a chaperone? My services are available for no charge.

Mally, indeed those of us who are fit and healthy should not take such a privilege for granted.

I could well do NoM, it might bring a friend you never know :)
Kva. Why do you require " permission " to cut your hair ?
1. It is a glorious day - although the heat doesnt feel as oppressive as just recently as there is a nice cooling breeze
2. All I can hear is birdsong - although the birds are proving to be a bit of a distraction - so many baby bluetits, great tits, robins, wagtails etc. The five woodpeckers squabbling are very amusing but I get neck ache from watching the buzzards and the kites.
3. My cleaner starts on Monday - whoop whoop, no more cleaning for me!
4. The perennial bed I planted up a few weeks ago now looks amazing - blues and whites. OK not quite up to Sissinghurst Castle standard a la Vita Sackville West but not a bad effort.

PS, NoM for really good barbecue equipment, try Weber. It's expensive but I cant fault it. I did a chicken on the rotisserie the other night and it was delicious.

Anne-nothing sinister, no controlling man or anything nasty like that- he's excited about the haircut in fact :) Just I was not quite wrapped on a project I have to have long hair for but they've released me now I just have ADR to do, and I had long hair during recent meetings for something else for next year and I didn't want to balls that up either so had to ask them too, but it's all clear so off to get it snipped tomorrow :)

2. I'm feeling fine

3. I got up early and completed my pollarding before the sun got too hot.

4. Naomi solved my Facebook problem ;-)
One has to pay extra for that particular function. Although this one wouldnt have bothered cos this one knows when a bit of meat is cooked by more old fashioned methods. Unfortunately, he can be a bit of a gadget t*** (a term coined by an author who makes me laugh).
