my local bakery is no longer baking them and I just love them.

Anybody give me a sure-fire way of making a batch so that I can freeze them.

Thanks

I've not made scones in ages, but I used to make ginger ones for a tearoom I worked at many years ago. I simply added finely chopped crystallized or ginger in syrup to the basic recipe.

thanks Pasta - these are really reddy brown coloured all over and of course delicious.
Were they actually scones or individual ginger cakes?

Ignore the fact that these are iced.
