My father brought me a 1 egg frying pan and my husband bought me a small set of cutlery, just enjoyed an omelette without any waste which is fantastic but the dogs don’t look so happy!
What’s even your most thoughtful gift?

well i did very well - i only had to ask "did you keep the receipt" once. most thoughtful was my husband sneakily took away my pandora bracelet which has a charm on it for each of our children (3 different snowflakes, 2 different stars) and got the newest star fr my daughter who was born in october. He even remembered what order the charms go on

Well it's actually for my birthday in January but my husband has bought me tickets to the Strictly Live Show and a nice in a spa hotel. Not really his scene but he knows how much I'll enjoy it.
A *night* in a spa hotel.
I got some shoes that i really wanted :) I think the top gift was some oven gloves though! Finally, no more tea towel.
I tell people not to waste their money on gifts for me. A card is always very nice because it shows that people are thinking about you. And that's nice.
The gifts i got my Ms were thoughtful because they are things i specifically remember her saying she wanted.. So when she opened up her stocking and saw all these things she subtly mentioned it showed her i care and listen
why do you need small cutlery? I though tit was your stomach they reduced, not your mouth.
Sweet little rose gold necklace that my partner gave me before I cam home for the holidays with his name, my name and the names we called our two littlies that didn't come to pass. Given what we have going on at the moment it's a remarkably thoughtful thing to have done and I love it x

spath I can empathise -when I opened the garage door and the Aston Martin was sat there under a taup - 'how thoughtful' he listened.
gold plated ? I thought he was minted kval? Hope you get your proper present when he comes back from his family xmas.
Its the small things that count, AL.. for example a specific type of diary or style of pen, a specific spirit and style, certain pants and socks, then other things such as types / scents of candle etc..

It's not about price.. it's (in my opinion) about small things of good quality.
" I though tit was your stomach they reduced, not your mouth."

Lydia....RR didn't have a breast reduction, she had Bariatric Surgery.
Kval did you recently miscarry or abort?
Bloody 'ell, Spath, what a question!!!
Oh you're back AL, how nice.
The subject line is 'thoughful', not that you'd know much about that given that you've had digs and me and RR already, and tbh it's a cheap shot, but knock yourself out. I'm not with him because he's 'minted' as you so crassly put it, I'm with him because he's a wonderful human being and he got me other things as well, but this is something that I treasure you total tragedy of a person.
I miscarried at 14 weeks and 3 days Spath since you're so interested :/
How tragic i'm sorry to hear that
AL is a laugh. imo.
AL is very lucky she's not here in person Spicey.
