Corned Beef Delux A La Chrissa1

Made this today chrissa and it went down a treat!
I tweaked it a bit, used two pots of ready made cheese sauce instead of white sauce and mixed in some double cream leftover from the weekend, and more potatoes than the recipe called for. Topped it with grated cheese mixed with Panko breadcrumbs (the dried ones in a box) simply because I found them at the back of the cupboard.
If I was doing it again..and I’m sure I will...I wouldn’t bother with the hard boiled eggs.

Ps. I wonder if raw potatoes would cook through enough in it, I did find it a bit of a faff boiling them first and then waiting for them to cool.

My digestive system can't cope with raw onions anymore. It's a pity because I did like a nice crusty bread roll with cheese and onion filling and a Guinness to wash it down with.

I love raw red onion in baps with cheese. Even white onion on my cheese on toast.

I usually have Cheshire cheese and raw white onion for my lunch most days. Love it.

I was horrified when I first came to the UK, and discovered that the onions in a cheese and onion sandwich were RAW! Yuck.
