Favourite Sandwich

Well I have not had a sandwich since 27 December 2016!

I am currently drooling over pictures of sandwiches and my favourite was pastrami, gerkins and swiss cheese on rye bread with mayo and mustard.

What's your favourite sandwich filling?

Bacon and egg. I am a health freak :-). Don't have it very often... but you can't beat it really.

Chicken leftovers from a roast, Just with a bit of salt and pepper with plenty butter on t'bread.

My other fav was butter bacon and slice portabello mushroom with tomato sauce on white bread

A very good combo. When I was younger before going out on our
early shift patrol we used to have 'T and Toast in our canteen. I always had two slices of toast with two slices of cheddar and portion of marmalade spread across the top of the cheese. The sweet marmalade and savoury cheese was a really tasty combination.

Don't think you'll find it in the shops, but our favourite is
Camembert, Cambazola or Brie with sliced banana - delightful.

I used to roast a leg or shoulder of lamb with a marmalade glaze spread over it.

Steak & onion, probably. But I like a large range any of which could vie for favourite position.
