I went down this afternoon for a couple of things and thought I would get some lamb steaks but there was hardly anything left at all. It seems Sainsburys would rather sell out and have empty shelves (a very common occurence) than reduce anything significantly.
Well it was Morrisons and I'm not surprised they are starting to close various stores, their buyers, or the people that order for this store have no idea, ( not that I'm complaining :) week after week, no joking more cod gets sold at next to nothing, and its not as if they have a busy fish counter to make up the loss, you never see anyone there buying fish, and the same go's for the meat counter. Rump and fillet steak go's cheap, I must admit its not to often I get a whole leg of lamb at that price, its normally rack of lamb. But I've been eating cod fillet from them for at least 2 yrs, its been coming out my ears. :) and cost me next to nothing.
