I cooked the above (frozen) yesterday and cooked them in the oven - however (M&S) found the fish bit pretty tasteless.

I like fish now and again - any advice on what tasty fish there is out there (please no bones). TIA

Cod loin.
I like trout and salmon.
Make your own. It's really easy
Smoked Haddock. Yummy. x
Most importantly get a bottle of chardonay and wrap three sheets of kitchen papaer around it. Dribble water on it until all the paper is wet and then put it in the freezer. This is a tip on how to chill a bottle of white wine really quickly .. by the time you have made your meal the wine will be perfect !

Going back to your cod .. get a fresh fillet instead of battered.
Place some foil across a baking tray.
Put your cod in the foil.
Some butter on the fish..
Some ground black pepper..
Bit of salt ..
A drizzle of lemon..
Bake for 20mins on gas mark 6..
.. tell me that's not tasty

Serve with new potatoes and asparagus or beans ..

Dont forget to take the wine out of the freezer !
We find the Tesco chunky cod or haddock, really tasty. In batter or breadcrumbs.
I pan fry my cod...dipping it first in seasoned polenta and parmesan. Love it.
Morrisons 'Free From 'frozen pks. of Breaded Pollock. Two in a box, no unecessary packaging, tasty white fish.
