..to help these industries during this difficult time.
With this in mind, we’re having supermarket Chinese tonight :/ It’s a chilled thing and won’t keep.
However, next weekend I have some organic rib eye steaks in the freezer which we’ll have, along with onion rings, chips, peas, grilled tomatoes and anything else I can think of.
Yep, compulsory ;)
Seriously, apparently these areas are really struggling.
We don’t really eat meat these days but have always enjoyed a rib eye steak. Looking forward to it.
I'll definitely have cheese, and do the chips have to be white potatoes? I prefer sweet. I'm not a steak fan, but tonight's meatballs are beef and pork.
One of my 'country' contacts put out a facebook appeal a few days ago because a dairy farmer they knew was having to dump days of milk production. Such a shame.
Shoota, yes, I believe the milk industry is really suffering.
We know someone who works/worked at a Costa and they used to have a whole huge fridge full of plastic bags of milk. All closed now. And that’s just one company who used gallons of it.
