Any reason not to eat it now ?

It was from the counter at the supermarket where they have food which they have cooked themselves

I'd do the same as Barry.... but should add that you can't tell by sight, smell or taste, whether it is safe or not.

Sure it will be fine but I wouldn't. I'm always nervous about chicken

Depends if your fridge is at the recommended 2 to 4 C....many fridges run at several degrees higher, with obvious consequences.

Always be careful with meat! Better to be safe than sorry. If in doubt, throw it out!!!
