For me it is jelly and blancmange in a waxed paper dish, usually patterned with clowns. It appeared at every children's birthday party and the school's Christmas party. If we were lucky there was a bit of ice cream, too.
I quite some jelly and blancmange :)

My mum's slow cooked Ragu, and homemade bread. Also homemade doughnuts. She always gave me the bit punched out of the middle.

I never liked flying saucers, it was like eating paper with sherbert inside.
I still buy haslet although my mom used to make it.

Bazille, we called those marshmallows 'chocolate teacakes'. Tunnocks still make them and I may have to buy a box now.

Remember those 'chocolate snowballs?' I couldn't eat them without getting in a real mess

Farley's rusks. They are not the same, I was very disappointed last time I tried one
